Agreement Templates

Settings → Agreement templates holds the wording sent to depositors to sign — deposit forms, gift deeds, loan and transfer agreements.

As the page says: "Editing a template creates a new version; already-sent agreements keep the wording they were sent with." Nothing you change here can alter an agreement somebody has already been sent or signed.

What's on the page

Templates are grouped by kind:

  • Deposit
  • Gift
  • Loan
  • Transfer
  • Custom

Each row shows the template's name and its version (v3, and so on). One template per kind can carry the Default badge — the one offered first when you create an agreement.

Archivers.ai ships seeded starter deeds so you have something to adapt rather than a blank page. They are marked Draft — review, meaning they are starting wording pending your own legal review. Read them before you send one.

Creating and editing

  • New template — top right — creates one from scratch.
  • Edit on a row opens the wording. Saving creates a new version; the version number on the row goes up.
  • Delete removes the template. You're asked to type DELETE to confirm, and told what it does and doesn't touch: "Agreements already created from it keep their own copy of the wording, so they are unaffected."

With no templates at all, the page reads "No templates yet""Create your first agreement template, or open one of the seeded starter deeds to adapt it."

Who can use it

Organisation admins only. Everyone else sees "Only organisation admins can manage agreement templates."

It isn't tied to a plan — any organisation can manage agreement templates.
