Usage & Plan
The Billing page (sidebar → Billing) is your single source of truth for current plan, usage, and upgrades.
Organisation Plan
The top card shows your current plan: Community, Professional, Team, or Enterprise. A badge in the top right indicates Free for Community or a tier label otherwise.
Usage
Two meters track your current month's consumption against your quota:
- Monthly Items — items processed this month. Standard files (documents, images, audio) count as 1; video items count as 3.
- Storage — total blob storage used.
Both reset on the 1st of each calendar month.

Annual billing
Annual billing saves 20% over monthly. Toggle Annual on the billing page to see the annual price.
Batch uplift
The batch processing mode adds a 30% uplift to your monthly item allowance — useful when you're ingesting at scale and don't need instant turnaround. Batch is enabled by default on Community when you've consumed your 2 free instant accessions for the month; on Pro+ it's a per-accession choice.
Upgrading
- Billing → Upgrade Your Plan.
- Pick Professional or Team; click Upgrade.
- Stripe payment flow — secure card entry, supports cards from most major providers.
- The upgrade takes effect immediately. Your monthly quota is pro-rated for the rest of the current month and resets normally on the 1st.
For Enterprise, click Contact us and we'll arrange a discovery call.
Downgrading and cancelling
Downgrade: same flow, pick a lower tier. The downgrade takes effect at your next renewal date — you keep the higher tier until then.
Cancel: from the Billing portal link (opens Stripe's customer portal). After cancellation:
- Active until end of paid period
- Then drops to Community — your data stays, but features above Community lock and you can't add new files until you re-subscribe or export
After 90 days at Community, the 28-day retention kicks in and Community-tier-incompatible files start being purged. Export to BagIt within those 90 days to be safe.
